Robert-smRobert Williamson, DDS, MS was born in Glasgow, Scotland, where he resided until attending college at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After completing his undergraduate studies, he moved to San Antonio, Texas to attend dental school. Throughout his time in San Antonio, Dr. Williamson was involved in multiple humanitarian missions to Mexico, providing dental treatment to children in Mexico’s border towns.He received his D.D.S. in 2005 from the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. Dr. Williamson and his family then moved to Columbus, Ohio where he completed his specialty training and Master of Science degree at Columbus Children’s Hospital and Ohio State University.

Dr. Williamson is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has hospital privileges at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and Plano, and Heritage Park and Wilson N. Jones Hospitals in Sherman. Additionally, he is a part-time Clinical Professor at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Williamson and his wife Megan have four children. He enjoys golf, soccer, travel, missions work and spending time with his family.

 

Kavitha Viswanathan, DDS, MS was born in India. She attended dental school inKavitha-sm India then relocated to the US in the year 2000 to attend graduate school. She received her Ph. D in Oral Biology in 2005 from Ohio State University at Columbus. Later, she completed her pediatric dental specialty training and simultaneously obtained a M.S degree at the Columbus Children’s Hospital (now known as Nationwide Children’s Hospital) and Ohio State University in 2007. She and Dr. Williamson were classmates at OSU and have continued to remain good friends.

Dr. K is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently a full-time Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Dentistry. She has hospital privileges at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and Plano, at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, and Wilson N. Jones and Heritage Park in Sherman. Dr. K and her husband Swami have two children, Sammie and Addie. She enjoys cooking, music, and spending time with her family. Dr. K has always enjoyed working with Dr. Williamson and is very excited to be a part of his dental team.
